Mexican Net Hammock

The Mexican Net Hammocks from MacaMex are handmade in the old tradition. Families in Yucatan earn their living with this handicraft. Of course they also sleep in their hammocks themselves. The hammocks hang in the simply furnished houses instead of a bed or in the courtyards and gardens for resting during the day.

The original hammock from Mexico is knotted like a fishing net. It is pleasantly airy in the summer. The dense net made of fine cotton cords is elastic and adapts flexibly to the body. This provides the unique lying feeling of a net hammock.



This single hammock is about 390 cm long and suitable for a small person. The mounting points should be about 380 cm apart and 150 cm high.
